We are certified HERS (Home Energy Rating System) raters by CalCerts for the current California building code standards. As HERS raters we can provide testing and verifications for home owners, HVAC installers, Title 24 consultants, Realtors and more. We can typically be on-site within 48 hours and can provide on-site paperwork.
We also provide HERS II Whole House Energy Assessments and BPI Carbon Monoxide testing and energy audits.
We have 3 HERS raters and 3 BPI Analysts on staff to meet your needs.

Mr. Cheney has over 15 years of experience in the fields of building science. From building homes to working with gases and fuels in the Navy, he is a HERS and HERS II rater for the 2008 building code standards. He is also a BPI Analyst and Envelope small home and multi-family certified professional. He has a strong background in operations and project management. From May 2007 to October 2009 Mr. Cheney implemented projects saving clients approximately 2.2 MegaWatt hours of electricity use resulting in annual energy cost savings to the customer of approximately $243,320 using $0.11 per kiloWatt hour (kWh). Most of these savings were delivered to customers with no out of pocket expense. Mr. Cheney served several tours in the Navy.
